Reciprocity Terms
Not intended as legal advice nor should be constuded as such.

Definitions & resources below are provided as a public service for educational purposes only.

Reciprocity:   This is a formal agreement between two states to honor each other's Concealed Carry permits.

Recognition:  An official statement of honoring another state's concealed carry permit without any reciprical agreement from the other state.  For example: Utah honors all other states permits, including CA who honors no other state's permits.

Non- Resident Permits:  Some states allow non-residents to apply for their state's Concealed Carry permits, (but applicants must still meet all the same legal  requirements).  Colorado is one of  five states that doesn't honor Non-Resident permits.
