Reciprocity:
This is a formal agreement
between two states to honor each other's
Concealed Carry permits.
Recognition:
An official statement of honoring
another state's concealed carry permit without
any reciprical agreement from the other
state. For example: Utah honors
all other states permits, including CA who
honors no other state's permits.
Non-
Resident Permits: Some
states allow non-residents
to apply for their state's
Concealed Carry permits,
(but applicants must still meet
all the same legal requirements).
Colorado is
one of five states that
doesn't honor Non-Resident
permits.
